JOIN THE Helpline@SonBridge TEAM: VOLUNTEER

Volunteers are the heart, soul and backbone of Helpline@SonBridge. We quite simply would not exist without the dedicated service of our team of volunteers.

Helpline@SonBridge volunteers are caring compassionate people who enjoy working with others. Volunteers are carefully screened and trained for a variety of assignments. Whether covering a regular shift each week or helping with a one-time special project, Helpline@SonBridge volunteers make a positive difference in people's lives and develop skills that are useful in a variety of settings.

VOLUNTEERs CAN SERVE IN SEVERAL WAYS AT Helpline@SonBridge:

Client Intake: Interview clients to determine needs and eligibility. Assist with direct aid and make appropriate referrals.

Office Clerical: Assist with greeting clients, filing, answering phones and data entry.

Custodial: General maintenance duties to ensure a safe, clean environment.

Manage In-Kind Donations: Assist with organizing and tracking donations of food, clothing and other in-kind goods.

Committees & Special Projects: Volunteers are also welcome to share their talents by joining one of our Community committees, including: Communications, Finance, Fundraising and other special projects.

Helpline@SonBridge does not discriminate in the provision of services, or the assignment of volunteers on the basis of race, creed, age, color, ethnic origin, sexual orientation, marital status, religion, political ideology or disability.
